In side by side comparisons Digitran’s new VLP® Rotary switch is less than half of what other manufactures with the same switch configuration. Digitran is also able to easily customize the rotary switch to meet almost any configuration a customer could possibly need. The new Very Low Profile Switch can also be used to replace existing rotary switch as they are fully compliant with MIL-DTL-3786 and MIL-PRF-22710. While Digitran’s new line of rotary switch are the smallest in the industry Digitran has continued to maintain the quality and reliability that are synonymous with the name Digitran.

Digitran has evolved existing high reliability electromechanical switches to include a new series of Very Low Profile (VLP®) rotary switch standard products and custom designs. The new VLP® rotary switch line takes Digitran's proven mil-spec contact technology that is currently in use world wide in many aerospace and military applications, adds a patented space reducing mechanism to develop the worlds first patented Very Low Profile ® Rotary Switch family of products.

These switches have the lowest ‘behind-the-panel depth’ (Post Panel Depth) of any similarly rated rotary switches in the industry with as little as 0.142 inch depth. This provides more room for additional system components, as well as the least possible weight for any rotary switch. In most applications, Digitran’s multi-deck rotary switches have less post panel depth than the most single deck switches, allowing easy replacement and substitutions. All switches are 100% made in USA in ISO-9001:2000 certified facilities.
